BROCKWAY, Placer County — The North Tahoe Public Utility District’s rate schedule lists a $70.91 monthly residential wastewater charge per equivalent dwelling unit for the 2026–27 fiscal year.
NTPUD serves water and wastewater customers in the north shore communities including Brockway Vista. The approved 2026–27 rate combines a $50.92 base wastewater charge and a $19.99 system-replacement fee. It follows $63.89 in the prior fiscal year, according to the utility’s adopted multi-year schedule. Additional charges may apply to certain customers, and non-residential users have separate rate calculations.
The multi-year adjustments were adopted by the NTPUD board in March 2024 to support maintenance, infrastructure renewal and regulatory requirements through 2029. A rate listed per equivalent dwelling unit is not an individualized bill for every parcel, so people with unusually configured properties should verify their classification.
What local residents should know
Customers should consult the district’s rate table and their actual service statement or contact NTPUD at 530-546-4212 before making assumptions about their bill.
